If Renter uses a caterer from our approved caterer list, a 10% surcharge on the “total” catering bill will be imposed, payable by the caterer directly to Gingerwoods. Renter reserves the right to suggest a caterer not on Gingerwoods’ approved caterer list for consideration; however, Gingerwoods reserves the right to approve the caterer and a 10% surcharge will be added to the “total” bill, payable by the caterer directly to Gingerwoods. Suggested caterer must also meet all of our approved caterer’s eligibility requirements. Gingerwoods will inform the caterer of Gingerwoods’ policy. However, Renter is responsible for paying the surcharge in the event that the caterer defaults.
All beverages, with the exception of coffee and tea, must be served through Gingerwoods’ beverage service. See all alcohol requirements under the Alcohol and Beverages section below.
All caterers and cake suppliers must have proper licenses and liability insurance coverage. A copy of the caterer’s and cake supplier’s certificate of insurance must be provided to the event director at least 2 weeks prior to the Event. Renter must supply proof of insurance, if not supplied by the caterer and cake supplier.
Alcohol and BeveragesAll beverages, with the exception of coffee and tea, must be served through Gingerwoods’ beverage service. Alcoholic beverages may be served at the Facility so long as Renter assumes all responsibility therefore and complies with all applicable laws. Only Renter is allowed to bring alcohol into the Facility. There are no exceptions to this rule. Alcohol must be provided by Renter and served through Gingerwoods’ beverage service.
Gingerwoods provides a bar package, which includes use of the Cambro bar, mixers, soft drinks, disposable cups, white cocktail napkins and garnishes. The cost of this package is $3.95 per person. Bartenders will be provided at an additional $30.00 an hour per bartender, with a minimum of 4 hours, not including set up. Wine and beer (but not mixed drinks) can be served, with or without use of the bar, at $2.50 per person. This package includes disposable cups, white napkins and soft drinks. Events choosing to provide soft drinks only will be charged $1.95 per person.
